Meet our Eagle Family! Today, we would like to introduce Mr. Mike Nichols as our Principal at Paris High School. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with his Bachelors in 1995, his Masters in 2008 and his Specialist in 2014. Nichols has been in education for 13 years. He is married with two sons. He
enjoys traveling, hiking and college football. Nichols chose Paris because “I love Paris traditions, Eagle
pride and commitment to excellence in all areas. Students here are the most respectful I've seen
anywhere and they love their school and community. I love working with great professionals who are
committed to doing what's best for students.”

Students in Mrs. Wewers' 6th-grade literacy classroom participated in a Carousel of Quotes activity, where they were introduced to their main character, Percy Jackson. Today the students started their first novel, The Lightning Thief.





SR High will host their 1st pep rally on Friday, August 30th at about 10:40 am in the PHS gym! Help us get these Eagles fired up!


PMS will have their first Jr. High and 7th grade pep rally Thursday, September 5, at 1:30 in the PMS gym. Everyone get loud and proud!!!!

Statement regarding school attendance on Thursday, August 29th concerning the information from the Little Rock office of the FBI. Students are encouraged to come to school on Thursday, August 29th. However, if a parent chooses to keep their child home due to safety concerns, the student will be required to bring notification from a parent or guardian when they return on Friday, August 30th that the parent chose to keep the child at home on Thursday, August 29th. We will have a regular class day with assignments being given by teachers. Students will be allowed to make-up assignments missed on that day if the student is not present. As per Paris School District Policy, students who do not attend school will not be allowed to participate in AAA sanctioned activities that day.

The Middle School Library will have extended hours on Jr. High Football Home Game nights.
The library will stay open till 5:30 on these dates:

Sept. 26th (Paris vs. Booneville)
October 10th ( Paris vs. Cedarville)
October 31st (Paris vs Greenland)

Jostens will be at PHS September 9th to present about Senior rings to Juniors and about caps & gowns to Seniors. They will return the 12th to take orders.

On September 14th Paris Ford will be hosting a Ford Drive 4 Ur School event. For every test-drive taken, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Paris Special Olympics Team, for a total of up to $6,000. Please go down and take a car for a spin!

Way to go Eagle Golf Team yesterday at Little Creek! The Eagles came in an unofficial first overall as a team! KenLeigh Robertson finished in first and Saylor Hampton came in 3rd to give the Lady Eagles an unofficial match win. Destin Davis, Cayden McDaniel and Dylan Krigbaum all finishing under the 50 mark and in the top 7 overall.
