The Report to the Public will be presented Thursday, September 12th at 5:30 pm in the A4 Board Room on the PMS campus.

Paris Schools observed 9/11 Patriotic Day in various ways across the district, through raising of the flags, moment of silence, playing of Taps, discussing the events of the 9/11 and how they changed America and doing reflective writing activities.

Paris Middle School Library will have extended hours on Jr. High Football home game nights. Library will stay open until 5:30 on these dates: 9/26/19 Paris vs. Booneville; 10/10/19 Paris vs. Cedarville; 10/31/19 Paris vs. Greenland. #wearepariseagles

On September 14th, Paris Ford will be hosting a Ford Drive 4 Ur School event. For every test-drive taken, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Paris Special Olympics Team, for a total of up to $6,000. Please go down and take a car for a spin!


Ms. Samantha and Ms. Christy’s Pre -K Class at PES have new seating for circle time this week as they learn about personal space. The baskets help represent each child’s personal space. :) #wearepariseagles



PHS Freshman spent some time visiting with PMS 8th grade students this week about their experiences during their trip to Washington, D.C. over this past summer. Current 8th grade students will have the opportunity next Wednesday at 5:30 pm in the auditorium to sign up for the trip to D.C. to take place during the summer of 2020. PES 3rd grade students learned the importance of the classroom word “yet” while constructing a tower using only five index cards and tape to hold the weight of a package of paper plates.




PES first grade students in Mrs. Ivey's STEM class were challenged to see who could build the tallest tower using strips of paper and tape!





As a way to build on our culture of reading, the PMS library is hosting a social media conversation/contests for PMS students each 9 weeks. This 9 weeks the conversation is built around the question, "Why do you read?" #whyiread #parismiddle #RISEArkansas #wearepariseagles

Congrats to the following students for reading 50 books to become the newest members of the Paris Elementary 1st grade Brown Bear Reading club: Eden Honea, Paisley Hixson and Blake Barham! Way to go!

Jostens visited with PHS Juniors about rings and with Seniors about caps, gowns & announcements today. They will return on Thursday for students to place their orders.
