October 6-12th is National Fire Prevention Week this year. In an effort to help raise awareness, Paris Fire Department visited with students at Paris Elementary this week. The firemen shared information with the students about fire prevention and safety tips to follow in case they're ever involved in a fire. Students also got an up-close look at the Paris Fire Engine.
4th grade teachers have decided to start a new tradition - "Book talks at Breakfast!" The 4th grade teachers and other school staff are invited to share, a couple times each month, about a book they've recently read. Today, Mrs. Schluterman shared about her book, No Flying in the House.

Meet our Eagle Family! Today, we would like to introduce Mrs. April Moss, our counselor at Paris Elementary. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with her M.S. in School
Counseling. She has been in education for 14 years. This is her second year with PES. She is happily married with four children whom she enjoys watching at their sporting events. Mrs. Moss chose Paris because “After my interview, it just felt right! Every person I’ve met so far has made me feel like I belong. This is going to be a great place to work!” #wearepariseagles
