Mrs. Maranda Pfeiffer's Project Based Learning STEAM class students at PMS have been exploring some fun projects after their research. Some had fun creating dolphin tails after looking at the importance of a marine rescue center. Other students in the class were researching natural disaster preparedness and learning about airplane manufacturing by building and testing paper airplanes. #wearpariseagles

Paris Elementary second grade students had the opportunity to complete a fall scarecrow project with their family's help recently. Students were encouraged to use whatever supplies they had on hand at home or found items from nature. Always some very unique ideas! These scarecrows are on display in the PES second grade hallway. #wearepariseagles

Mrs. Kati Patterson, recently started what she calls Motivation of the Day in her 4th grade classroom. Everyday, she or a student suggests a motivational quote for the class to briefly talk about, sharing what they think the quote means and what they took away from the quote. "I found myself needing some motivation and thought why not share with my students because they may need someone, or something to motivate them as well. I always enjoy hearing what they think the quote means, because I sometimes get a completely different answer than what I was thinking." #wearepariseagles
