The Paris School District School Board meeting date has been changed this month to Thursday, December 19th at 5:30 pm in the Paris Middle School library.

PES will host a Literacy Night on Tuesday, December 10th from 6-7 pm for Kindergarten & 1st grade. There will be Christmas stories, snacks and activities!

This year for the PMS Elf Contest, students are asked to bring donations of pet food, collars, treats, etc. to purchase a "gift" ticket to put on a teacher of their choice (Mr. Ty Varnell, Mr Jeremy Dryman, Mr. Josh Rhinehart, Mrs. Savanna Wewers or Mrs. Katie Ulmer). The teacher with the most "gifts" will get the joy of wearing the elf costume all day on December 18th! All items collected will be donated to our local FurGet Me Not foundation.


The deadline to purchase senior ads for the 2020 yearbook is THIS Friday, 12/13. Only ads ordered and paid by the end of the day on 12/13 will be placed in the yearbook. All parents/guardians of seniors should have received order forms in the mail earlier this semester. Third grade students are learning about goal setting in Mrs. Moss' counseling class. Students chose personal goals and then decided if they would be long term or short term goals. Some of the students' goals included: making a new friend in the 2020 school year, winning the school spelling bee and becoming a better reader. #wearepariseagles

PTO Santa shop is underway at PES! We had a busy 1st day but we are restocked so come ready to shop! Open until Friday! All proceeds go right back into student and classroom supplies and activities! #wearepariseagles



The Paris FFA is currently taking pre-orders for poinsettias. Profits from the sales will go to sponsor two kids this Christmas with CASA. There is limited supply of 100 red, 30 white and 30 maroon. Contact jbinz@parisschools.org to order.

Paris School District will dismiss early at 1:30 pm (first bell at PES rings at 1:20) on Dec 19th & 20th. Christmas break will be December 21-January 5. Students return to class on January 6th. Have a fabulous holiday break!!!
