He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Baxter has been in education for 14 years. He is married and has
three sons. Baxter chose Paris because “My wife and I wanted to live and raise a family in this area, so
Paris was the perfect place to seek a job.”

PES students are so excited when they get selected to "Eat Lunch with the Principal." Each week, 3 students are chosen from each classroom from a specific grade level to have lunch with Mrs. Schluterman or Mr. Pearson. Students are chosen for a number of reasons, from making improvements academically and/or behaviorally, demonstrating a positive work ethic, to being helpful and demonstrating good character traits. Openings available for substitute/trip bus drivers. In time, individual may be eligible for a full route if they were interested when one became available.
