We've had a great time celebrating our Paris School Board members the past month in conjunction with National School Board Appreciation Month! We truly appreciate the skills, knowledge and dedication each of them bring to our district. PMS Student Council will host a dance in the Middle School safe room February 28. Fifth and sixth grade students are invited to attend 4:00 – 6:00. Seventh and eighth grade students are invited to attend 6:30 – 8:30. Tickets are $4.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door. Please make sure you have a ride home from the dance! Have fun!!!

Sarah Enoch, Logan County Extension Agent, visited with Ms. Featherston's 6th grade science students recently. She discussed the differences between feral and domestic hog skulls and the effects of the feral hog population on local farmers. Students also learned about the opportunities available to them through the local 4-H organizations. #wearepariseagles




PMS students in Mrs. Taylor's Project Based Learning class helping with the design for the walking path to the PMS Little Free Library in preparation for the ribbon cutting at 2:30 pm tomorrow (February 20th). Thank you to Rainbow Stone for the donation of the flagstone! #wearepariseagles

6th grade students in Ms. Featherston's science classes have been learning about camouflage and mimicry as part of their Adaptations and Genetics unit. Each student was provided a white paper gecko to color, trying to make it blend in somewhere in the classroom. They did an excellent job! #wearepariseagles

Mrs. Seaton's third grade students are learning about main ideas and details. They recently built a "main idea" house to show how the supporting details (walls) support the main idea (roof). #RiseAR #wearepariseagles
