News from the PES P.E. department!
We are having lots of fun in our P.E. classes this school year. We have played some super fun games…some that we already knew and some that are new to us. We have really enjoyed “Football Tag”, “Zombie
Tag”, “4 Corner Bowling”, “Hoop It Up”, and “3 Stooges” in 1st -4th grades. Kindergarten has had fun learning “Turtle Turnover”, “Spot Elimination”, “Clean Up the Room”, “Bean Bag Tag”, and “Mousetrap”.
There is always lots of physical activity with the Rattlesnake Run, Exercises, and Stations.
The week of March 9 – 13 will be our “Jump-A-Thon and Sing-A-Long”. Our theme for this year is “Sports”. We hope our families will be able to join us during this week for some entertainment and jumping rope.

Daylight Saving Time Begins this Sunday! Please remember to set your clocks forward one hour Saturday night before you go to bed!

Congrats to our PMS 5th grade Quiz Bowl team on earning 1st place at the tournament today! #quizbowlchampions #wearepariseagles

Paris High School students, currently enrolled in computer science courses, were part of a select group of participants from across Arkansas who were recently invited to attend a STEM day at Southwest Power Pool in Little Rock. While in attendance, students learned about the jobs available, working hands on with a cyber security expert and an electrical engineer.
SPP employs over 600 people and oversees the power distribution on the power grid. Paris is part of the Southwest Power Pool and receives their power distribution through them.
