Great job by PHS ART Instructor, Leslie Stout, on our mascot painting to be gifted to the Guy Fenter Education Service Cooperative! All school districts in the area Coop were asked to paint their mascot to be hung at the Coop in Suite F.

Students in third grade have recently learned that reading aloud to someone or something improves reading skills. They tried the strategy out this week by reading to a stuffed animal they were allowed to bring to school for the day.

9th grade students in Mrs. Fennell's English class doing a Breakout Edu activity on poetry. Breakout Edu is similar to an escape room where students have to solve clues regarding a literary piece to open the various locks.



Order your PHS Alumni t-shirt by October 11th! Shirts will be royal blue with white graphic as shown in picture. Back will say Once An Eagle Always An Eagle. $15 for XS-XL, add $1 for each additional X. Shirts should be ready by Oct 19th. All proceeds to fund alumni scholarship.

PES will hold its annual community health fair Tuesday, Oct 9th 6-8 pm, offering free screenings, health info, healthy snacks, door prizes & student entertainment - “Eagle Ninja Warrior” Challenge in the gym - K– 6:10-6:30, 1st & 2nd gr 6:30-6:50, 3rd & 4th gr 6:50-7:10.

Students in Mrs. Jones 1st grade class have been learning about verbs. To help further their understanding, students made verb cities. Students drew only verb-related pictures in their cities before presenting to the class.
