Paris High School held its annual National Honor Society Induction on November 14th. Fifty-six students were selected for induction based on their grade point average. Congratulations!


Sydney Ward signed with Crowder College in Neosho, MO for softball. In her JR year, Sydney won the Paris MVP award, was all conference, all state and Times Record All Area Team. She was the #1 pitcher in 3A with 241 strikeouts, #4 in 3A ERA with a 1.28 and #4 in 3A with 8 HRs.



Kieli Robinson signed with Union University in Jackson, TN for basketball. As a junior at Paris, she averaged 22 points a game. She also had over 200 rebounds and 250 assists. She has scored over 1,000 career points. Been all district 3 times and all state once. Congrats Kieli!

THURSDAY is last day to donate to the PMS Turkey Feather Fundraiser. Each donated food item buys a feather to place on the teacher of your choice. Teacher with the most feathers will strut their stuff on Friday in the Turkey suit! Donated items go to PMS backpack food program.

Mrs. Patterson's 4th grade class watched a video, briefly explaining each of the 5 military branches. The students then voted which one they would like to join or were interested in. With that data, they made individual bar graphs representing the top 3 choices in the classroom.





PHS will hold its annual NHS Induction ceremony TODAY at 10:45 am in the PHS gymnasium followed by the Academic All Star awards and Athletic Signing.

Mrs. Wewers’s 6th gr Literacy Classes formulated their own comprehension questions for the class novel, Bud, Not Buddy. Students worked in groups to create comprehension questions & come to a consensus for answers. Students had to support their answers with quotes from the text.
