Pope’s classes have been learning about human rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Students had to become experts on assigned articles. After becoming experts, students then had to teach the article to their classmates, explaining what they learned about human rights.

7th gr health students formed peer groups to ask questions, share experiences & express concerns regarding changes during adolescence. Students investigated how demonstrating kindness & empathy towards each other could help with many emotional challenges & reduce bullying.

Staff across the Paris School District shared their personal accounts and experiences from the tragic day on 9/11. Students wrote about changes in presidential power, economical effects, historical significance and cultural changes resulting from the events of 9/11.
