KPB is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th.

PES was evacuated at approx. 12:30 pm today due to the smell of electrical smoke triggering smoke alarms. Paris Fire Dept and PSD Maintenance staff responded. A blower motor on a heating unit caused the smell. It has been isolated & replaced. Students were outside approx. 45 minutes, enjoying the sunshine! PFD cleared the building and students returned to classes. Students that had not eaten were walked to PMS and fed lunch.

Friday, March 15, no school for students – PD day for teachers.

Paris Schools will dismiss at 1:30 March 14, 2019, for Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held from 2:00 – 7:00 pm.

Time Change: March 10 everyone needs to “Spring Forward” and set your clocks up one hour!

PMS Student Council will host dance March 1! 5th & 6th gr 4-5:30 and 7th & 8th gr 5:30-7. Tickets $4 in advance or $5 at door. Bring money for the concession stand! Tickets on sale 2/19 & can be purchased from Parent Involvement rm or Mrs. Duggar. No admittance without ticket!

Congrats to Jacey Williams on becoming a member of the 50 point AR Rockstar club! She earned a medal! Students in 2nd-4th gr can earn Accelerated Reader points by reading books of their choice & taking quizzes on those books.

Students in Mrs Pugh's math class are learning how to write a number sentence. They are encouraged to use their magic fingers or draw circles to figure out the answer.


During Science, in Mrs. Jones' 1st grade classroom, students have been learning about light. They recenlty learned about prisms and were able to explore how they work. They loved trying to see the rainbow through the prisms!
