
The Athletic Banquet for PHS Senior High Athletes will be on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 at Paris First Assembly of God. A sit down supper and award presentation will be on the agenda. Each senior high athlete will receive admission plus 2 free guest. We will have sign ups in the High School office starting the week of April 29. Any additional guest will cost $10 a ticket. Business casual dress for the evening.

Make plans to join us for the annual PES PTO Spring Carnival on Friday, May 3rd at 6 pm rain or shine! If raining, the carnival will be held inside the PES building. There will be games, concessions and raffle drawings!

Join us to watch our little Eagle track stars at their meet on May 1st: 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades and May 2nd: Kindergarten and 1st grade at 9 am at the PHS stadium, weather permitting. If raining, the meet will be held inside the PHS gym.

Middle School STEM competition will be Monday, May 6. Regional STEM Competition will be May 9 at Booneville. Good luck everyone!

Cookie dough: Items purchased through PMS fundraiser will be delivered next week, May 2 – orders may be picked up May 2 from 3:00 – 5:00 in the Middle School gym.

The Spring Concert will be Sunday, May 5 @ 2 PM. Students will need to be at PMS by 1:15, dressed in their Sunday Best. Don't forget your instrument and music! Performances by 6th gr beginning band, 7/8 gr jazz band, 7/8 gr concert band, PHS jazz band, and PHS concert band.

Paris High School hosted their seventh annual "Release the Eagles" college/military signing day on Monday, April 29th, recognizing seniors who have committed to furthering their education and training. Fifty-eight seniors of the 75 graduating PHS Class of 2018 signed with one of the many colleges or military branches represented at the ceremony. PHS Graduation is set for Sunday, May 19th in the PHS gymnasium.

Our elementary students love to help out in the cafeteria, cleaning after lunch! Mrs. Hill, the PES cafeteria manager, said she has so many volunteer each day, she has to limit the number who can stay! PES is producing such caring, respectful citizens!

Congrats Lady Eagles! Paris defeats Perryville 7-3 to claim the softball conference championship last night! Congrats also to Coach Hart who was named conference Coach of the Year!

PES staff screened & registered 58 new kindergarten students during the two day registration event last week. If your child will be five by Aug 1st & missed this event, you are welcome to call 844-963-3243 to make arrangements to stop by this week!



Reminder>>Paris High School will celebrate Release the Eagles & Seniors Awards Day on TODAY from 10:30 am - 11:45 am in the gym. We want to recognize our seniors who have committed to furthering their education, training, and skill development; and senior students will receive honor stoles and completer cords.

Mrs. Kelly Kimmell's Sociology students recently researched various countries, created presentation boards and hosted a culture walk-through in the PHS library to share their results.
