Paris Gifted and Talented students spent the day at the STEM Fair and Air Show @ Jacksonville AFB today.




Mrs. Pope’s 5th gr class read Esperanza Rising, discussing human rights challenges. Today, some were assigned a quote from the text, while others an article from Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Then they collaborated to find the person who had the connecting evidence.





Sr Lady Eagles are headed to State Finals in Hot Springs for a shot at a 4th consecutive state championship! They will be leaving PHS at 11 am today and making the rounds by each campus before heading out. Help us line the streets and cheer them on! Game Saturday vs Ashdown 3pm

As part of Red Ribbon Week, Miranda Curbow, community health nurse with Guy Fenter Education Service Coop and Ashley Curbow with Tobacco Free Crawford, Franklin and Logan County spoke to the PMS students about the dangers of vaping.

Mrs. Possage's 8th gr math students have been studying the Pythagorean Theorem. To help master it, students created their own cities, including city sign, history of city slideshow and map. Students also found the flying distance between two places on the maps using the Theorem.


Mrs. Duggar's 5th gr science students read Pumpkin Jack, learning about life cycles of pumpkins and seeds. They decorated pumpkins for a contest with the county library. Votes can be cast with a monetary donation which will be used to create Blessing Baskets for the community.

5th gr students in Mrs. Harrison's Social Studies classes have been learning about Native American history. Students were placed in groups and assigned a specific region to research. The students will later present their projects to the class.
