Teacher Spotlight: Madilyn Bazyk is our 6th Grade Math Teacher. She recently welcomed a new baby boy to the world! She does a wonderful job in the classroom and she loves watching students discover new things.
Teacher Spotlight: Today we highlight Theresa Taylor. Ms. Taylor is going to be teaching 7th grade Science this school year. She is very versatile as she has taught Special Education, Literacy and 5th grade science before and even filled in for a math class! We appreciate Ms Taylor and all she does for our students at PMS!

Mr Jamie Varnell is entering his 2nd year at Paris Middle School. When Mr Varnell was in middle school, he built a strobe light from scratch in his technology class. That fascination with creating, building, and now programming motivates him to help a new generation of students dream of what they could one day build.
TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: Mrs Savanna Wewers is our 7th Grade Literacy Teacher at Paris Middle School where she is entering her 9th year with us. Mrs Wewers sets high expectations for her students and helps them reach them each and every day.

Report cards were mailed out today! Students hope you worked hard so you could have a great summer!
The summer slide is a decline in reading ability and other academic skills that can occur over the summer months when school isn’t in session. Research shows reading 20 minutes a day is the best way to prevent this learning loss. Paris schools provide FREE ebooks & audiobooks for all students year-round through our Sora app which is free to download. Students will use their school email to log in and start READING!
Due to the forecast of rain in the next couple of days, 8th grade SWAT will be moved to Monday. Friday will be a review day and Tuesday and Wednesday they will follow the original test schedule.
