Welcome back, Eagles! We're so excited to see you all this week.
Here's the schedule for the first few days:
Monday, August 11: 5th and 7th graders attend.
Tuesday, August 12: 6th and 8th graders attend.
Wednesday, August 13: All students attend.
A few reminders for the first week:
Most 8th graders will start their day at the high school.
Middle school doors open daily at 7:35 a.m.
Car riders should be dropped off on the north side of the building, near the auditorium.
Drop-off in front of the school is only for students arriving after 8:00 a.m.
Breakfast for 7th graders and 8th graders on the PMS campus is before school! 8th graders on the HS campus grab a breakfast at PHS.
5th/6th graders eat breakfast in between first and second period.

4th Graders came over today for Orientation and was a GREAT TIME!

FIELD DAY IS SET FOR MAY 16TH, THIS FRIDAY, AT PARIS MIDDLE SCHOOL!
BE PREPARED FOR A FUN, END OF THE YEAR, CELEBRATION AND REMEMBER TO BRING SOME DOLLARS FOR THE CONCESSION STAND!

4th Grade Program and Orientation - This Thursday, May 15th:
Just an update that the 4th graders will be on campus this Thursday for their program. In between their performances, they will be participating in an orientation session. This will include:
Eating lunch on campus.
Visiting classrooms.
Touring the library and gym.
Getting acquainted with the campus.
Please be prepared to welcome our 4th-grade visitors as they explore different areas. We will have them back in the auditorium for their 1:30 PM performance.
8th Grade Orientation - Monday, May 19th (Original Date):
Please note that the 8th-grade orientation remains scheduled for its original date, Monday, May 19th.

Your kindness made our week extra special!


SEMESTER TEST AT PMS:
Exemption Rules (Apply to ALL Grades):
Automatic Exemption: If a student has an A in their second-semester grade for a specific class, they are exempt from the test in that class.
Conditional Exemption: If a student has a B in their second-semester grade for a specific class AND has 4 or fewer total absences (excused or unexcused) in that class, they are exempt from the test in that class.
Required Testing: All other students will take the second-semester tests.
Testing Schedule:
5th and 6th Grade:
Tuesday: Tests in 1st Period and 6th Period classes.
Wednesday: Tests in 3rd Period and 7th Period classes.
7th and 8th Grade:
Tuesday: Tests in Math and Science.
Wednesday: Tests in Social Studies and English.
Remember, exemption is determined on a class-by-class basis. So, a student could be exempt from the Math test but still need to take the Science test, for example.
