Students in Mr. Ty Varnell's E.T.E. (Engineering and Technology Education) class at PMS have been researching, designing and constructing their own bridges. Sarah Enoch, Logan County Extension Agent, visited with Ms. Featherston's 6th grade science students recently. She discussed the differences between feral and domestic hog skulls and the effects of the feral hog population on local farmers. Students also learned about the opportunities available to them through the local 4-H organizations. #wearepariseagles

6th grade students in Ms. Featherston's science classes have been learning about camouflage and mimicry as part of their Adaptations and Genetics unit. Each student was provided a white paper gecko to color, trying to make it blend in somewhere in the classroom. They did an excellent job! #wearepariseagles





5th grade students in Mrs. Taylor's Science classes handling earthworms as they learned about decomposers. #wearepariseagles





8th grade students participating in a partner activity during the SWAT (Surviving Withstanding Achieving Together) event on Friday to help improve their teamwork and communications skills! #wearepariseagles

Congratulations to the PMS FBLA students who competed at the District I conferencelast week: Lauren Reames, Breanna English, Annalise Stanford won 2nd place in Desktop Publishing; Tomas Heavin won 5th place in Intro to Computer Science & Coding; Cole Appleton, Karson Cameron and Konnor Lunsford won 4th place in Business Graphics; Lilly Stockton won 3rd place in Keyboarding Applications I; Abby Yarnell placed 3rd in FBLA Creed.
