
Come join the MS for some TALE-GATING fun at the 7th and JR High football game Thursday night. Staff will have an area setup in the south end of the parking lot with games, snacks, face painting and free books! A great night of fun and fellowship as well as each PMS student attending will be gifted a free book and entered into a grand prize! Time is 5:30-7:00...so stop by after the 7th grade game or before the JR High. See you then!


Tuesday morning Shout Out to Coach Vire and Mr Drymon. Coach Vire teaches PE at PMS and coaches Girls Basketball, Cross Country and Softball. Mr. Drymon is the PMS Band Director and Assistant Band at PHS. These two are student favorites and always engaging with their classes and the student body! We appreciate Coach Vire and Mr Drymon!

Homecoming week continues and Paris Middle School students and staff have been celebrating all week long with dress up days! Tuesday was Hippie or 80's day and Wednesday was Christmas in October!! Can't wait to see what everyone has in store for neon day (Thursday) and blue/white day on Friday!

Strengthening Families Program
STRENGTHENING FAMILIES PROGRAM:

THE A GAMES
The A Games are coming! How do you get "in the game"? Show Up! Every student who has perfect attendance for the month of October, or only excused absences, gets to compete with their team on Friday, Oct. 28. At Paris Middle School, we want you here! Show up: Have fun!


With National Custodial Appreciation Day happening yesterday, we want to thank our custodians who help keep our schools in great shape every day. Some voted for no pictures and thats is ok, we appreciate all of the workers who keep our schools up and running. We appreciate Ms Jo and Mr Topher!


Tutoring: After school tutoring is today at 3:15 until 4:15 and will be held every Monday and Wednesday in the Media Center/Library. HOWEVER, there will be no After School Tutoring this Wednesday due to a faculty meeting. Please contact Ms Suiter if you would like to sign your child up for tutoring.

Paris Middle School and Principal Mike Nichols would like to give a big shout out and thank you to the Paris School District IT Department! Mr Chris Wade (Technology Coordinator) and Mr Jacob Canada (Computer Technician) go above and beyond each and every day to support the students and staff at Paris. A small token of appreciation was given in honor of all the hard work they put in! Thank you guys!!


Mrs Jennifer Rice's class had an escape room in her class for Constitution Day and only one team took the victory and escaped!!!





GRANDPARENTS: We hope you all had a great time spending time with your grandkids last week at the different activities across the district/area. We also hope you will come join the fun at the middle school this week. Due to all of the activities and schedules, we decided to have ours this Thursday, September 22nd at Paris Middle School from 7:30-9:30am in the Media Center with coffee, donuts, etc. The schedule will be:

Kelsey Forest (far left) and Keri Coffey (middle) our inclusion teachers that assist students and teachers at Paris Middle School in Math and Literacy. Carla Suiter (far right) has been a staple at PMS for many years and oversees 504's, dyslexia, Sonday, assists with inclusion, Curriculum Instructor, and so much more. We are very appreciative of the ladies who support, teach, and encourage our students and teachers!
