Please put one pair of shoes in a plastic bag (Wal-Mart, Dollar General bag, etc.) and your donations will be used to help furnish water to needy folks in less fortunate circumstances than those in which we live. PES 4th grade students in Mrs. Ivey's STEM class have been learning about balanced and unbalanced forces. They recently had the opportunity to test out the phenomenon known as Bernoulli's Principle. Students used various materials (index cards, paper plates, paper clips, tape, etc) to make a ping pong ball levitate in air blown through a straw. Their apparatus also had to include a holder for the ball to sit in both before and after levitaing. The students loved exploring this concept! #wearepariseagles
