During p/t conferences, PES is offering basic computer & Eschool sessions in room 137. Also, bring a question to the table to be entered into a drawing for a Kindle Fire, announced at 6pm.

Kindergarten students learned how to make Oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid, named after the Dr. Seuss book Bartholomew and the Oobleck, in Mrs. Ivey's STEM class today.

PES will celebrate Dr. Seuss Week on Feb. 26 - March 2 with dress up days and Random Acts of Kindness, guest readers in the library, special Dr. Seuss lunch on Friday with a movie and special guests!



Great job by our PES 3rd & 4th grade students who competed in the Greenwood Invitational Chess Tourney on Feb 20th! Congratulations to Aiden Dybendal for earning 1st place in the tournament!


Mrs. Davis, PES counselor, teaching a second grade group of students about Habit #6 - Synergize. The students put what they learned about working together into action while playing "toxic swamp."

Paris Elementary School students recently earned the opportunity to ride on a limo party bus to eat at Pizza Hut by reaching their sales goal for the school fundraiser.

Second grade students recently visited the Paris Health and Rehab residents to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving through song and with some hand-made door hangers!

Members of the Paris Rotary club delivered dictionaries to our 3rd grade students today!

2nd graders in Mrs. Schluterman's class completed a novel study over Charlotte's Web. Then they enjoyed the movie & participating in a "break out" using questions & clues from the book.

Congrats to Evelyn Xiong at Paris Elementary School! She was awarded a medal by the Paris Optimist club for her positive attitude and always having a smile on her face no matter the circumstances! She was presented her award during the Honors assembly on November 3rd. Way to go!

Ronnie Sisson with the Walmart Distribution Center presented Mr. Alan Anderson with a donation of $1000 today. The funds will be used for new resources for the literacy program at PES.
