Kindergarten and 1st grade students enjoyed a "party in the park" reward for meeting their literacy goals for the 1st nine weeks. Students were rewarded with an extra recess this morning if they (kindergarten) know all their letters and sounds or if they (1st grade) are members of the Brown Bear Reading club. PES Book Fair is Coming!
PES students are so excited when they get selected to "Eat Lunch with the Principal." Each week, 3 students are chosen from each classroom from a specific grade level to have lunch with Mrs. Schluterman or Mr. Pearson. Students are chosen for a number of reasons from making improvements academically and/or behaviorally, demonstrating a positive work ethic, being helpful and demonstrating good character traits. Congratulations to this week's students who were selected!
