The transition from Middle to High School can be daunting for any student. To make this transition easier, the staff at Paris High School organized an orientation to help the eighth graders familiarize themselves with the campus and staff as well as classes offered.
PHS held orientation on May 7th for incoming freshmen. Rene Kiefer, counselor, and Mike Nichols, principal, welcomed the students and introduced them to their advisors. The students had the opportunity to tour the building, hear about course offerings for next year and start planning their schedule.
An open house event will be held in the fall for parents and students to pick up schedules and meet their teachers.
