- 7/8th girls: Today during your recess time Coach Vire needs to meet with you all in the gym.
- FCA: FCA will have meetings every Friday morning before school 7:35 a.m. in the Safe Room.
- After School tutoring: There will be NO after school tutoring next Wednesday 2/7/24 due to early dismissal.
- Book Club Meetings: 6th Grade will meet in the library on Thursday @ 10:00. 5th Grade will meet in the library on Thursday @ 11:00. 7th/8th Grade will meet in the library on Friday @ 11:25 - all members should eat lunch at 11:00.
- Valentines: Sr. High cheerleaders are selling chances on a gift card basket – there are a LOT of gift cards in the basket including 22 Brew, Chilis, Chik-fil-A, American Eagle, Texas Roadhouse, Sonic, Cari, Subway and Casey’s – all of which are $20.00 - $25.00 cards – tickets are $2.00 for one or $5.00 for five – drawing will be held February 12, 2024 for the lucky winner!! - BMI & Scoliosis Screening: TODAY - Mrs. Kim will be doing BMI screenings for ALL sixth-grade students & Scoliosis screenings for 6th grade girls only.
- Early Dismissal: Middle School will dismiss at 1:20 2/7/24 for PD for teachers.
- A Games: Our next A Games will be held 2/16/24 – be there!!
- Dance: Dance through the Decades 2/16/24 in the Middle School gym!! If you want to bump it up a notch you can DRESS like a decade – 80’s, 90’s, etc. get creative!!! Tickets go on sale next week for $5.00 and may be bought during 7th period in room 8 (Mrs. Cole’s room) or at the door day of the dance – 5th and 6th grade dance will be 3:30 – 5:00 and 7th and 8th will dance from 5:30 – 7:00 (no outside dates allowed) Rumor has it some teachers are ALREADY planning their “dress up gear” so should be FUN!!
- Presidents Day: Paris Schools will not be in session 2/19/24 in observance of Presidents Day! Enjoy!
- FCA Baseball Game Day Rally 2024: Any 7th or 8th grader interested contact Coach Willhite to register your church, family, or yourself to secure your spot in the Hog Pen where you’ll watch the Arkansas Razorbacks take on the McNeese State Cowboys Saturday, 3/9/24 at 12:00 o’clock p.m. Tickets are $20 each with all additional proceeds going toward Bibles and other resources to equip and empower coaches and athletes on campus at the University of Arkansas.
- 5th grade field trip: Fifth graders will have a field trip 3/13/24 to Bacchus Family Adventure farm in Lamar – cost is $8.00 per student and permission slips are due back no later than 2/26/24.
- Parent/Teacher Conferences: Paris Schools will host Parent Teacher Conferences Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 2:00 – 7:00 – make sure your folks show up to pick up your Report Card and hear all the wonderful things we have to say about you!! (we will dismiss at 1:20 ish that day)
- Day off/Spring Break: No school the day after Parent Teacher Conferences (3/15/24) and Spring Break will be 3/18-3/22 – enjoy!!
- Yearbooks: Yearbooks are on SALE!!! Order forms are available in classrooms, the office or order online at www.jostensyearbooks.com - See Mrs. Hart or Mrs. Johnson for more information!
