The Paris School District Wellness Center is made possible by funds allocated by the Arkansas Department of Education through Act 180 of 2009 Tobacco Excise Tax.

Our Vision: Students and staff of the Paris School District will have access to the Paris School District Wellness Center in order to have quality, integrated school health services which will improve the health and wellness of each person in the Paris School District, optimize academic achievement, and overall enhance the well being of our community.

The PSD Wellness Center will provide prevention based services for students Pre-K - 12, faculty and staff. Services will include:

• Sick & Well Visits-Dr. Jason Richey, Kim Hertlein, APRN
          - athletic physicals, pre-k physicals, kindergarten physicals

• *Dental-Dr. Thomas Kiefer
          -  basic check up, referrals to be made as needed

• Mental Health Services-WACG

• Vision-Arkansas Eye Clinic, Dr. Anh Chung, &
          Eye Care Assoc., Dr. Steve Roberts-School-linked service

• Wellness Promotional Activities

• Health Education Programs

• Staff screenings
         - sugar and blood pressure checks
