  • FBI:  Nov 16 at 12:45, Jessica Franklin with the FBI will be here to talk to 7th and 8th graders about  actual cases which targeted teens around the country, highlight warning signs which teens can look out for while online, and take time to detail the serious dangers teens are exposed to while online. Each presentation, combined with a Q&A session, typically lasts an hour and a half. The FBI is making a significant push to educate Arkansas students about the dangers of both sextortion and cyber threats targeting teens.
  • A Games:  Remember our next A Games will be 11/18/22…only students with perfect attendance and no unexcused absences can participate!!  Show up!!
  • Turkey!!  This is the week!!  Who will wear the turkey suit!!???  You decide!
  • Christmas Parade:  Be sure to make plans to attend the Paris Christmas parade November 26, at our beautiful downtown square!!  Everything is kicking off at 6:00 o’clock p.m.
  • Book Fair:  Paris Middle School will host a Book Fair in our Library beginning Tuesday, November 29 and running all the way through the next Tuesday, December 5!!  There will be books, posters and all sorts of other wonderful goodies…just in time for Christmas!!  Check out all the inventory for those on your Christmas list!! 
  • Cookies with Santa:  Monday, December 5, Paris Middle School will host Cookies with Santa in our school cafeteria…stay tuned for further updates!
  • Yearbook:  Yearbooks are still on sale!!  See Mrs. Canada for more details!
  • 5th grade field trip:  Fifth grade will take a field trip Wednesday, December 7, to Christmas Tree Lane in Ozark.  Permission slips and $10.00 are due back to your teachers no later than today! Lunch will be provided. 
  • Basketball:  Good luck to our basketball teams - 11/14 Jr. girls and boys @ Dover – please dismiss athletes at 2:00; 11/15 Jr. and Sr. girls and boys vs. Lamar at home; 11/16 Jr. girls and boys @ Dover; 11/17 Sr. boys and girls vs. Ozark at home.
  • Thanksgiving Break:  Paris Schools will not be in session November 21 – 25 in observance of Thanksgiving. 
  • Band Christmas Concert:  Tuesday, December 13, Paris Bands will have their Christmas concert beginning at 6:30 in the Paris Middle School auditorium.
  • SWAT:  Monday, December 19, eighth grade will have SWAT.  All students report to first period as normal, then to second for attendance and you will be directed from there.
