Paris Middle School

Selected students from grades 5-8 attended Tech Take Over in Fayetteville on October 16. The Tech Take Over was an event organized by TechStart FaceBook initiative designed to "inspire imagination, exploring technology, and unlocking opportunities." Students from the Northwest Arkansas region were invited to gather at the University of Arkansas where they explored virtual reality and augmented reality games and platforms and toured the computer sciences engineering facilities on campus. The focus was on creating content for VR and the opportunities and applications available now and on the horizon in that field. Governor Asa Hutchinson not only spoke at the event, but answered questions posed by student participants.
