Paris Elementary Schools loves reading and is is excited to announce their Read-A-Thon beginning on February 21 and ending on March 4. Grab a book and lets start reading. We will also be celebrating Dr. Seuss week beginning February 28 - March 4. Students, join in the fun on Monday, February 28 for Mixed Up Monday, Top Hat Tuesday, Wednesday - Oh The Places You'll Go, Thursday - The Sleep Book, and Friday we will have the Book Parade. Students don't miss out on the fun!

Former Paris Graduate Jimmy Dikeman began his CNC Machinist training at the Tyson Logan County Career Center in Paris. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University- Ozark and is now employed by ABB Motors & Mechanical Inc. Mr. Dikeman is quoted as saying, "I have been able to be in a 'real-world' situation to better myself with experience; continually learning and having the ability to have a financial income and support myself." Congratulations, Jimmy!
