PHS Cheerleaders will host a Little Eagle Cheer Clinic the week of September 27 – 21. Girls grade pre-K through sixth are invited to come cheer on the Eagles!!! If you are interested in participating contact Jennifer Owen or any PHS cheerleader.

The PHS Cheer and Football teams greeted the PES Eagles this morning, listened to them read in the classroom and visited with them on the playground and while they ate breakfast! What a great Eagle family we have!

In an effort to help all remember, students were teaching other students the procedures for independent reading time in Mrs. Wilkerson's first grade classroom today.

3rd & 4th grade students in Ms. Hudson's classes enjoyed a new spin on Art class today! They had the opportunity to soak up some sunshine while helping to draw messages to share with everyone - Bee Kind, Happy, Nice, Smart...Bee You!

Mrs. Jones' 1st grade students have learned about the design process in science. Today, they put this knowledge into action, creating a design to keep a cat from scratching the legs of a chair. Students worked in groups, creating & testing various chair protectors they designed.

Mrs. Fulmer's 2nd grade students recently completed an at home assignment of an All About Me collage!

Mrs. McGarrah teaching kindergarten students about the importance of "brain breaks" throughout the day, using the GoNoodle app! This 2-3 minute exercise gives the students a chance to stretch, get their blood flowing and helps them refocus.

Fourth Grade students learned about American Flag Etiquette today. They learned how to fold, raise and lower the flags in preparation of their responsibility in doing this each morning and afternoon throughout the school year.
