Paris Middle School is hosting a shoe drive for clean water during December 2-16 in partnership with Ozark Water Project. This will be the third year for PMS to participate in the drive. Students will begin collecting used but wearable shoes for the next couple of weeks after coming back from Thanksgiving break. The shoes will be donated to Ozark Water Project. They in turn will sell these shoes to a company who will provide them to those in need of shoes. The money they receive will be used to dig wells and install water pumps and filtration systems in villages like Haiti, Uganda and Kenya. If you would like to participate, bring your good used tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops or boots in plastic bags to PMS December 16th.
