Children's author and former Branson entertainer, Eddie Bowman, aka Chester Drawers, visited Paris Elementary on November 19th. Chester performed some of his silly songs and jokes and shared some words of wisdom, inspiring our students to read.
Students had a chance to preview and purchase some of his books after the program. Each of Bowman's children's books is listed on the national readers program, Accelerated Reader. PES students also had the opportunity to have their books autographed by Mr. Bowman.
What a literary treat!
