Planning a Marine Rescue Center

Over the past few weeks, fifth grade students in Mrs. Pfeiffer's Project Based Learning class have been researching the pros and cons of having a marine rescue center in order to persuade an audience that it would be beneficial. They put together presentations about the benefits of the center and why some might be against it. During the presentations, peers were required to find something they liked about the presentation and a suggestion of how the presenters could improve their argument. To close the project, students were able to build their very own dolphin tails. The goal of the project was to get students thinking about real world issues and how difficult it can be to find a solution for everyone. #wearepariseagles
