PES Jump-A-Thon & Sing-A-Long

Paris Elementary School held its annual Jump-A-Thon and Sing-A-Long March 4th-8th.  The event was coordinated by Susan Hofmann, PES Music instructor and Paula Barnhill, PES Physical Education instructor.  Everyone involved had a great week of jumping rope and singing songs. There were 275 guests attending the 2019 event. PES students successfully collected over $7,900.00 this year, which will go right back into the school for PE and Music room supplies. 

We would like to recognize the students and classes who will receive awards for inviting the most guests and collecting the most money.

School booster awards: Kollyn Schluterman received a $50 wal-mart gift card for collecting the most money ($223.00)!  Kollyn Schluterman, Ella Miller, Mckenna Hester, Zander Watts, Brayson Reed, Cody Yandell, Ember Enriquez, Kiya Xiong, Konner Robison, Shaley Newman, Gio Amparan, Emily Helton, Halle Mulson, Adalyn Trusty, Ty Farmer, Jake Morton, Emma Arnold, Cheyenne Quijada, Layton Gilbreath, Charlee Collier, and Grace Sims all received a giant chocolate candy bar for collecting over $100!

 

School pride award: Mrs Chrissy Schluterman’s class received prizes for being the class who collected the most money ($910.62)!  Grade level winners were: Mrs. Snow’s kindergarten class ($431.41), Mrs. Canada’s 1st grade class ($504.02), Mrs. Hannah Schluterman’s 2nd grade class ($651.00), and Mrs. Hatcher’s 4th grade class ($379.78).

 

School spirit award:  Mrs. Seaton’s 3rd grade students received prizes for being the class who invited the most guests (23)!  Grade level winners were:  Mrs. Snow’s Mrs. Mcgarrah’s, and Mrs. Eckles’ kindergarten classes (16), Mrs. Jones’ 1st grade class (19), Mrs. Hannah Schluterman’s 2nd grade class (20), and Mrs. Smith’s 4th grade class (21).

 

Mrs. Hofmann and Mrs. Barnhill would like to say thank you to all the teachers, students, and parents for doing such a great job this year!!
